The Process used was the application of Chinese Political Indoctrination, learned during the Cultural Revolution, in which they are taught "goodness", everything must be sacrificed for the common good, everything sounds very good, except that "Good" is what you order them to do, so the members of the Khmer Rouge believed that massacring the population was "good".
The essence of Wokeism is Victimhood. Every victim needs help, to be treated in a special way. A sick person needs to be treated in a special way, he will be given special privileges, and everyone must make sacrifices for him. So by calling himself a victim, he obtains privileges. That is the mechanics of Woke Professors, those who promote Feminism, BLM, etc.
By taking over the teaching of Education, they were able to take over it, the teachers who put pride flags in their classrooms, have been indoctrinated for years, in their minds, everything is fine, they help the poor victims, and the victim is the group they have been ordered to victimize.
That is why the solution I propose, radical, is to change all the Woke Teachers, they have been so indoctrinated that they are no longer able to differentiate good from evil, replace them with Teachers of other specialties, in which University Education is restored and Wokes are expelled from it, and subject them to a Deprogramming Education, exactly the same as that used for people rescued from sects.
